Padre Pio – Strange Teleportations
In 1917, Padre Pio (1887-1968) managed to teleport into a locked hotel room. Inside was World War I Italian General Cardona, who was contemplating suicide after a defeat at Caporetto. The officer was preparing to shoot himself when Pio appeared and pleaded for him to reconsider. The general, convinced he had witnessed a miracle, experienced a spiritual awakening. years later he had the opportunity to meet Pio and was stunned by the priest’s greeting, “It was a close call that night, eh?” This event was not unique, and indeed Pio appeared numerous times to soldiers on battlefields warning them of attacks and bombings. Pio, not surprisingly, was canonized as a saint in 2002.
