2007 The Year Without a Haunt.

Back in 2006 we were inspected by the Pennsylvania State Department of Agriculture, who inspect all amusement parks and haunted houses, because they considered us a real professional haunted house. Because of these headaches we decided to end the haunt in 2007. Thus no haunt. However, Pennsylvania State Representative Rick Geist, the only politician I wrote about this issue of little home haunts and garage haunts being lumped in with larger for-pay events to write me back, followed up on this issue. In 2008 the code for amusement parks is changing to exclude anyone not charging a fee. We found out too late to really do a haunt in 2007, but we did do a great party for my daughter in the old haunt. Here’s some photos for ya. Enjoy. Also, below is a small video of me doing dangerous things with pumpkins and kerosene.
