The Megazooka

Ages ago – well actually for the pirate haunt back in 2004 – I made the Megazooka. It was a giant version of the Airzooka you can find at Spencer’s and toy stores. It worked quite well, and made a heck of a racket when fired. Here’s the Megazooka how-to I wrote up back then that I drudged out of the old website’s slush pile.

The colored thing on top is an Airzooka. It’s the toy I modeled the Megazooka on. I put it there for comparison.

Oh man! This looks fun. Too bad I don’t live anywhere near the area. I’m in California.

My kids love airzookas! I have some old barrels that I should totally use for this. Thanks for the idea!
