Worth the Drive - Castle Blood Opens in Beallsville, PA this Weekend

A lot of folks are amazed at the stuff we make for our home haunt Castle Nottingham, but I can assure you there are far more talented folks out there doing some amazing stuff. Castle Blood in Beallsville, PA (just below Pittsburgh) is one such haunt that the Nottingham’s try to visit every year. This is not your average haunted house. No chainsaws in sight. It is more of a theatrical experience where you as the customer get to participate by earning talismans and solving puzzles to get to the end and earn your vampire fangs. Castle Blood is a charity haunt too supporting local children’s charities which makes the attention to detail and work that goes into producing it even more amazing when you think that these folks are volunteering their time.
They open this weekend, and my wife and her brother and I will be there to try and get our fangs. If you have the time and an inclination to drive then do hit Castle Blood this Halloween season. You won’t be disappointed - especially if you like haunt eye candy - there’s plenty of it on their exquisitely decorated sets. Find more at their website - www.CastleBlood.com - and I’ve found a Google street view which I’ve posted below.

That looks super sweet. Please post after your visit and let us know what you think. I’m particularly interested in the theatrical/interactive aspect. Sounds interesting, and as I’m here in OH, I’ll never go myself, so I’ll have to live vicariously thru you.
