While listening to the latest Rich Roll podcast, which I posted above, I simultaneously got motivated and realized what a slacker I am. Fiona Oakes, who not only takes care of a 450+ animal farm sanctuary but also finds times to be a world-class marathon and ultra runner, is a certified badass. Not only that but she’s also the most humble person I’ve ever heard of. Many times during the interview she says she’s no good at running meanwhile she consistently wins races and sets records.
Below I’ve posted a trailer to a documentary about her called Running For Good by filmmaker Keegan Kuhn who you may recognize from films like Cowspiracy and What The Health. After you’ve watched the trailer you can visit the film’s site and watch it for free until October 14th, 2018.
I watched it last night and totally loved it. She’s an amazing powerhouse, and I immediately realized I need to up my running game. Most surprisingly of all is why she does it. Watch and find out.
