New music for Halloween 2020. Sam Haynes and Gary Bennett return with GROOVY MURDER DISCO. Special Bandcamp Edition with additional bonus tracks exclusive to this edition.
Sam has been recording Horror themed music since 2012 for theme parks, movies, podcasts and home haunts. Sam’s music is inspired by the movie soundtracks of the 70s and 80s. Sam’s music is a fixture of halloween radio, podcasts and dark theme park attractions. Sam was nominated for a Rondo Award for Best Horror album and has won several awards for his music, including Halloween album of the year 2019 for Nightmare City Halloween Radio. The song Witch House was featured on BBC Music Introducing in 2020.
Gary Bennett is a prolific and talented guitarist. Gary has been a member of several high profile bands and currently records and produces music for the band ‘Oktober’ you can hear more of his amazing work at www.Oktober1.bandcamp.com
Together Sam and Gary have created an album of Dark Electronic music that can be listened to all year round, not just at Halloween.

Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy will all be present for a virtual Halloween event hosted by the New York Restoration Project.
The annual Hulaween fundraising gala is usually a big event with star-studded guests dressed in over-the-top costumes.
This year, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, the event is going virtual, and for a mere $10 donation you can watch the livestream. Details are in the tweet below.

Halloween Reading List 2020: Midnight in the Graveyard
Well I powered through The House of the Seven Gables, which was a little tedious I must admit, and now I’m on to an anthology of short stories by various artists entitled Midnight in the Graveyard. The first two stories have been lovely little nuggets to bite into with just the right spice and flavor to keep me well interested. I suspect I’ll finish it quickly.
Midnight. Some call it the witching hour. Others call it the devil’s hour. Here in the graveyard, midnight is a very special time. It is a time when ghostly spirits are at their strongest, when the veil between our world and theirs is at its thinnest. Legend has it, that while most of the world is asleep, the lack of prayers allow the spirits to communicate under the cover of darkness, among the headstones, their whispers rustling in the leaves of the old oak trees. But if you’re here in the graveyard, you can tell yourself it’s just the wind, that the moonlight is playing tricks on your eyes, that it’s only the swirling mist you see. But when you hear the graveyard gate clang shut, the dead have something to say. Here are their stories…
