The Daimajin Trilogy
Somehow the YouTube algorithm actually suggested a channel I might like. Up From The Depths does reviews of Kaiju and other giant monster movies and games on YouTube.
I’ve seen most of the offerings because they were staples of Saturday afternoons back in my childhood in the 70s and Saturday nights on Chiller Theater hosted by Chilly Billy on channel 11 Pittsburgh.
One I had never heard of was Daimajin. Did this movie trilogy not make it to the US when the the rest of the Japanese monster movies did? I’m not really sure and amazingly this doesn’t seem to be easy to buy. I guess I’ll have to wait until the cons start happening again to find a copy.

I don’t know if this story is entirely true, but I really hope it is. I didn’t go fact-checking because I really don’t want to know. As far as I’m concerned it truly should be real and it is as far as I’m concerned. Use the arrows to page through it all.
In Case You Weren’t Sure, We Live In The Dumbest Timeline
Once upon a time I voted for a celebrity to be President of the United States. No, not Donald Trump. The man I voted for was Ronald Reagan, and I made that spectacular blunder the very first time I was able to vote. Looking back it’s pretty clear – this truly is the dumbest timeline. Incompetent and unqualified POTUS – check. Politicizing health precautions like wearing masks to stop the spread of a deadly virus – check. The US releases video of pilots seeing UFOs and no one cares – check. People disputing whether black and brown people are in fact people – check.
I won’t even mention that this timeline and/or universe has zero super heroes.
